Paige Starts Basketball

Football has ended, and now basketball has started for Paige.  She had her first game on Thursday night.  Since there are only 5 fourth grade girls out for basketball, Paige has some third grade girls on her team.  They played hard, but lost to tough St. Mary's.

Grandpa Storhoff's 90th Birthday Party

A few weeks ago, Grandpa Storhoff celebrated his 90th birthday with a big birthday celebration at the church in Nome.  We drove out for it, and it was a beautiful day with a packed church basement!  Wishing you many more birthdays to come, Grandpa!

Paige's Stitches

I got a call this afternoon from the nurse at the elementary school saying that Paige had fallen in Phy. Ed. playing basketball outside.  She said that the cut looked like it probably needed stitches, so I picked her up and took her to the clinic, and sure enough, she needed 5 stitches.  She was a trooper though and did really well getting the stitches.  Luckily it's in a spot where if it leaves a scar, won't be too noticeable.  The funny thing is, she goes to get stitches out tomorrow in Fargo from her dental procedure she had done, so she's had a lot of experience with stitches recently!

Cade is in Jazz Band

Cade was asked by his band teacher to be in the 7th and 8th grade Jazz Band!  He is only 1 of 3 6th graders in the Jazz Band, and he will be the only trombone.  He will still be in regular 6th grade band.  Congrats, Cade!

Camden's Field Trip

Camden had a field trip today to Buffalo River Park.  He saw animals, went on a hayride, and picked out a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch.  Here he is with his best friend, Henry enjoying the day!

Camden the Firefighter

It was Fire Safety this week, and at school, the firefighters brought a firetruck to show the students and talked about fire safety.  As soon as Camden got home, he's been playing "firefighter".  Brielle likes to play "firefighter" too, but Camden doesn't like to share his hat that he got from the firefighters...so there's been some fighting over the hat!

About a week ago, NDSCS had it's Homecoming Parade, which is always a great parade.  It lasted close to an hour, and the kids got TONS of candy as you can see!  They always enjoy going to parades.
