At the end of April, I attended a conference in Grand Forks, and I had some time to do a little shopping.  I got some great deals at Old Navy.  As you can see, I got 5 pairs of boots, a pair of slippers, tights, and 2 shirts all for only $6.95!  Gotta love clearance deals along with coupons!!  Brielle is set for next winter!

Brielle..."Miss Technology"

Brielle has been enjoying playing games on Daddy's Galaxy Tab and Mommy's iPad lately.  Some of her favorite games are Monkey Preschool, Cookie Maker, and Puzzle games.

Cade's band concert

Cade had a band concert last Monday night.  It was 5th-8th grade band, and 7-8 grade choir.  The 5th grade band students only played 3 songs, but they did a good job!

M-Club Asian Night

Chris and I are in a club called "M-Club" that is basically a social investment club. We meet once a month and also have some social events throughout the year. We have only been members a few months, but we had our first social event on Saturday night. We had a culinary instructor from NDSCS show us how to prepare some Asian dishes at another couple's house. Can you believe we made sushi and ate it (there was not any raw fish)?? Along with long island teas, beer, and a fire outside, it was a perfect evening. I told Chris I hadn't had that much fun in a LONG time! I think we're going to do this again sometime with a different theme. I think Italian would be great!

Chris' B-day Present

Chris was extra happy this year with his birthday present as it was a new John Deere lawn mower and bagger.  Our old lawn mower's engine blew up, so this new one will be very nice.
