Happy birthday, Grandma June!

Chris is .......... Batman!

We had quite the night a few weeks ago.  To make a long story short, we had a bat in our house....and I found out it was in our house by waking up at 3:30am with it flying in our bedroom!!!  It creeps me out still just thinking about it.  I can still hear the sound of the wings flapping!  I think I had a mini panic attack during the situation, but luckily it flew out and Chris was able to capture it.  After looking over our roof closely, Chris found out where they were coming in at and rigged up something for them to get out but not  back in (at least we hope).  Chris has had a lot of experience with bats as they have them weekly in Old Main (the building he works in).  He is usually the one that has to go and deal with them.  I told him I'm going to have to call him "Batman"!  

Cade's Golden 12th Birthday



Cade celebrated his "Golden" 12th birthday this year (8/12/12).  He invited 2 friends to go to a Redhawks game and then a sleepover but because of the rainy weather, the boys went bowling instead.  On his actual birthday, we had a family reunion, but I made a cake for Cade and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to him.  Can't believe we will have a teenager next year...yikes!

Brielle's 3rd Birthday Party

 Brielle celebrated her 3rd birthday a few weeks ago with a family party.  She got a lot of great gifts and enjoyed her "Dora" party.  Here she is riding her new 4 wheeler.



Table and chairs

We got a different table and chairs because we needed a bigger table.  

We like it, and it matches our woodwork good.
Everyone is now at the table...no more high chair!


The kids passed their swimming lessons!

We just finished another round of swimming lessons, and all 3 kids passed their levels.  Cade passed Level 6 (the next round is Lifeguard Training), Paige passed Level 5, and Camden passed Level 1!  Good job, kids!

Brielle Gets Cast Off

Brielle got her cast off on Friday!  She is so happy that she can finally go swimming!!  Bathtime is much easier!

A Day at the Lake

A couple weekends ago, we were able to get to Paul & Cherie's lake cabin on  Lake Ida and visit with relatives.  Like usual, we all had a great time!  Thanks for putting up with us, Paul and Cherie!
