Shorts Weather

Today was a beautiful day in the upper 70s. It was the first time all three kids had shorts on this year. We spent the majority of the day outside today. Now, we're grilling steaks for supper and will probably play some yard games outside afterwards. Let's hope for more days like today!

1st Year Molars

Camden is getting his first year molars, so he hasn't been himself lately. He seems to be most bothered by them during the night when he's supposed to be sleeping. He's been doing pretty well with Anbesol and infant Motrin. I hate medicating him, but I want him to be able to be comfortable and sleep. Last night for supper, he wouldn't touch anything on his tray (which is extremely unusual for our big eater)! He's for sure getting 3 at once...maybe 4. I hate sticking my fingers in his mouth because he likes to bite them...hard! Hopefully it won't take as long for him getting these teeth as it is for Cade losing his tooth!

On My Own...

Well, Chris left early Saturday morning for Oxford, Ohio for a business conference. He flew from Fargo to Minneapolis, and then to Cincinnati. From there, he drove to Oxford, which was about a hour drive. He said he's having a great experience. He was put in a group to do case studies, etc. and he said he has a great group. He said he volunteered to be the leader of his group! The college paid $1200 for him to attend, so he feels honored that he is able to go and wants to get a lot out of it. He will be busy each day from morning until night working on projects. He flies back into Fargo around 9:00 Friday night. I've been busy nonstop with the kids. I was up at 5:50 this morning getting everyone ready to go. I had quite a surprise when I walked into Camden's room this morning as he had thrown up sometime in the middle of the night. I'm thinking his supper of 3/4 of a double cheeseburger and fries didn't sit too well in his tummy. Needless to say, the room stunk, and he and his crib were a mess. He had the quickest bath of his life. I threw all his crib items in the wash, and we were all out the door. Hope tomorrow morning is better!

Short Haircuts

With summer approaching and being tired of tangles, we decided to have Cade and Paige get short haircuts. Paige had hers cut at the "beauty shop" as she calls it, and Mommy cut Cade's hair at home. Paige was so excited all day for her upcoming haircut appointment. Cade doesn't get too excited for his haircuts. Daddy just informed me that he needs a haircut, too!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to our moms today!
We are going to spend the day at home relaxing.
Below are some Mother's Day gifts I received.
Camden was baptized on this day one year ago.
Cade gave me coupons for things like a free
backrub, 20 minutes of peace and quiet, a hug
and a kiss, etc. I'll sure enjoy those! He also made
me a nice card. I liked the part that said I was the
"beast" Mom in the world!

A poem and handprints from Camden.

Paige made a card at daycare for me.
I love her fill-in-the-blank responses!

Happy Birthday, Chris!

Happy 33rd Birthday, Chris! Tonight we celebrated by being taken out for supper by Cathy & Dale. Thanks for the treat! We finished up with cupcakes at home. Cade and Paige each made him a special card for his birthday. He got a lot of nice gifts and spending $$$!

Camden is SOOOO Big!

Camden's new favorite "attention-getter" is doing
"SOOO BIG"! He's such a cutie when he does it
and is pretty proud of himself each time. Here
he was doing it during mealtime.

Garage Sale

Garage Sale Update: We had a good turnout on Friday night, and the weather was great. Saturday's cold and rainy weather didn't turn out too many sales, but for both days, the grand total was $669, so it was worth the work!

We've been busy getting ready for our garage sale that will be this Friday night and Saturday morning. It's a lot of work, but we're excited to get rid of stuff we don't use. The extra money will be nice, too! We're keeping the prices reasonable so the stuff goes! We didn't have time to go through everything we wanted to, but we'll have a packed garage, nonetheless!
