Dr. Appt.

I had another doctor's appointment today. My doctor came to Wahpeton today, so it was nice not having to drive to Fargo. He did a quick check and said everything is going great. I briefly heard the baby's heartbeat, which the doctor said sounded great, too. My next appt. is on March 16, a few days before our trip to California. I'll have an ultrasound at that time and then an appt. with my doctor. At that time, I'll be 1 day shy of 19 weeks.

Grandpa's 4 Wheeler

Here's a picture of Cade and Paige going for their first ride on Grandpa John's new 4 wheeler. They said they had a lot of fun, especially when Grandpa did a cookie!

Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria, MN

On Sunday morning, we drove to Alexandria, MN to the Arrowwood Resort to spend the night. The kids had a great time at the indoor waterpark. After swimming for a few hours, we went to get in on some of the planned kids' activities. The kids had fun playing sports games, doing arts-n-crafts, playing board games, playing Bingo, decorating cookies, and eating popcorn. After that, we stopped quick at Subway and then went to the movie "Mall Cop". We were all tired after the movie and slept good! The next morning, the kids enjoyed another 1.5 hours at the waterpark before we had to check out. We ended the day with some shopping before coming home. Camden stayed with grandparents. We told him that he could maybe go next year. He was happy to see us when we got home and has enjoyed looking at the pictures and videos of our trip.

Grandma Phyllis' 80th Birthday/ Valentine's Day at City Lights in Valley City, ND

We spent Saturday at the City Lights restaurant in Valley City, ND celebrating Chris' grandma, Phyllis' 80th birthday. We had a great time. The food was great and so was the company! It was a nice Valentine's day.

Playdates

Cade and Paige had playdates yesterday. Paige had her "best"friend, Shariden over, and Cade had his friend, Jake over. The boys played video games and played outside. The girls played Barbies, colored, played Wii, and played outside. They enjoyed hot chocolate and popcorn made in our new popcorn popper.

Surgery went well

I had the cerclage surgery today around noon. Everything went well. Of course, the whole procedure isn't any fun, but at least it went well and is over with. We were able to leave the hospital around 5:00. My spinal wore off enough for me to take a few steps into a wheelchair and then into our vehicle. My doctor doesn't want me to work for a week, but I'll probably go back to work on Monday if I feel up to it.

Cade's Sledding Accident

Cade went sledding for Fun Club today after school, and he hit a bump, flew off his sled, and skidded on his face on the ice. He was all bandaged up, but we removed all the bandages as his cuts had stopped bleeding. His face is a little puffy, but I'm sure he'll heal quickly.

Surgery Tomorrow

Well, tomorrow is the big day. I am scheduled for my cerclage surgery at 11:45 in Fargo. We need to be there at 10:15. I ended up coming down with a cold/sinus junk, so I hope I'm well enough to get it done. Hope all goes well. The hospital said they have wireless Internet, so we're taking the laptop up as it will be many hours until my spinal will wear off.
