Brielle's 2nd Birthday Party

Today we had Brielle's 2nd birthday party, and it was a lot of fun! She got a lot of nice gifts that she really enjoyed opening. She was pretty tired at the end of the day so took a little nap. Thanks to everyone who came and helped her celebrate being 2!

A Day at the Lake

On Saturday, we went to Paul and Cherie's lake cabin on Lake Ida and had a great time! The kids enjoyed swimming, riding on the jet ski, jumping off the rope swing, and going on the pontoon. Afterwards, we stopped at Jim and Marilyn's lake cabin on Spirit Lake and got a pontoon ride...we hadn't seen their cabin yet, so that was fun! Both places are so nice! We had a great day!

Making the best of the High Humidity

This weather is sooooo horrible. We decided to put this little pool up for Camden and Brielle to enjoy tonight. Cade and Paige went to the swimming pool, but it was closing in a little over an hour, so we decided to have Camden and Brielle just swim in this little pool. They had a good time. Chris was just sitting on the deck watching them and probably lost 5 lbs. of sweat. When I went outside to take the pictures, the lens fogged up, so I had to take the pictures from inside the house. Please humidity, go away and stay away!!

Back to Reality...

Yep, vacation is over and we're back to reality. Thanks, Brielle. :(

Vegas Vacation

Chris and I were in Vegas from July 8-15. He went to the Cisco Live conference during the day. I hung out with his co-worker's wife and had a GREAT time! The weather was awesome...highs in the 90s with NO humidity! We couldn't have asked for nicer weather. The week flew by. We went to 3 different shows, ate at some great restaurants, and spent a lot of $$$! Vegas sure isn't cheap! We stayed at the Signature at MGM Grand and had a Junior Suite...it was awesome! We came back to terrible weather...could we lose this humidity??

Silver Dollar City

We spent 2 days at Silver Dollar City and had a blast!!

Shows*Shows*Shows*Shows!!!

We went to quite a few shows while we were in Branson. Our favorite was "Cat's Pajamas", which is acapella group. They refer to themselves as a vocal band because one of the guys makes sounds that sound just like instruments. They were so good. They will be in a reality show airing late summer/early fall but couldn't say which one it was, so we're excited to look for them. We also went to "Buckets-n-Boards", which is a percussion show...they banged on a ladder, buckets, and many other things. They were a funny group. We also went to "The Legend of Kung Fu" which was also very good.

Dixie Stampede

We went to the Dixie Stampede show one night. We all had a good time...good food and entertainment. You can find out more information at http://branson.dixiestampede.com/.

Mini-golfing

We all went mini-golfing one evening. It was hot and humid at 9:30 that night! The winner of round of mini-golf was.......................Tanya!!! She got 2 hole-in-ones in a row!

Whitewater Waterpark

We spent a day at Whitewater Waterpark. We all had a lot of fun going down various water slides.

Our Resort in Branson

While we were in Branson for the week, we stayed at the Wyndham Branson Meadows. It was such a nice place...we loved it there!

Sanford Children's Clinic in Sioux Falls

On our way to Branson, Paige had an appointment at Sanford Children's Clinic in Sioux Falls. It was such a nice clinic that we had to take some pictures while we were there. It was just like a castle inside!
