Lambert's Cafe-"Home of the Throwed Rolls"

We ate at Lambert's Cafe on Saturday for lunch on our way to Branson. It's always such a fun place to eat. The kids really enjoyed it. Cade even tried sorgum molasses and liked it on his hot roll that was thrown to him.

Cade's Luck Never Ends

I think we'd all agree that Cade is one lucky kid! It seems he gets his name drawn for almost everything. His name was called at a Redhawks game last summer to be the First Pitch Delivery Kid, and he also won a bike last summer. Well, he went to a Redhawks game on Monday night for a friend's birthday party, and his name was drawn once again to be the Junior PA Announcer. On the picture below, it shows what he announced. He said he did a really good job, and all of his friends heard him loud and clear. He got this picture, a hat, a poster, and team picture! I keep saying I should bring him along with me to buy a lottery ticket! :)

Happy 14th Anniversary, Chris!

Wow...it's been 14 years already...where does the time go? Happy Anniversary, Chris! Since we have Cade's baseball game tonight, we will celebrate in Branson in 1 1/2 weeks!

Congratulations on your Promotion, Chris!

We've known about this for a little while and finally it was made official on Friday. Chris was promoted in his job and is now the "Infrastructure & Enterprise Systems Manager" at NDSCS. He will be supervising 2 employees now as well as having added job duties to his plate. He is in charge of the campus infrastructure (data network and phone wiring), servers, data security (He is now the security officer for the campus-not the police officer kind though...lol), laptop program, and much much more. We are all really excited and proud of him! It is definitely well deserved!

Baseball Season Starts Again

Cade's baseball season started again. This year, he is #7 on the Royals. Chris is the assistant coach, and he has really been enjoying coaching. His games are Tuesday and Thursday nights, with practices on Wednesday nights. We all enjoy watching his games. His season ends the 2nd week of July.

Paige Started Piano Lessons

Paige started piano lessons this summer. She's had 1 session so far and can already play some songs. She's really excited about playing.

Chahinkapa Zoo

We bought a season pass to the Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton, and we've already been there 3 times! The kids love going to see the animals. Camden loves the new "ringating" (aka orangutan)! Here is a video of Brielle and Camden enjoying the otters as well as a slide of pictures.
