Brielle recently started walking! She seems to be doing it more and more each day. My words to Chris were "Look Out Now"!

Our Li'l Daredevil
Brielle has been a little daredevil lately. She's not afraid of anything. She likes to stand on her little car and as even tried to go a next step further and climb on the top back part of her car. Here she has climbed into her toy basket. And, no...she is not yet walking but is taking quite a few unsupported steps. I'm sure that will be happening very soon.

Weekend in Mpls
Since the summer is soon ending for us, and I will be starting back to work, Chris and I decided that we needed a weekend away from the kids. We bought tickets to the musical "Wicked", which was playing at the Orpheum Theater. It was fabulous!!! We can't say enough about how good it was...a real treat! The next night, we went to "All Shook Up" at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. That was also very good! We did a little shopping in between our musicals. It was a great weekend! Thanks Grandpa John and Grandma June for watching the kids for us!Cade's 10th Birthday Party
Cade invited some friends over for his birthday party. They ate supper and then played baseball in the backyard the rest of the evening. Everyone had a great time!

Happy 10th Birthday, Cade!
Cade is 10 years old today! Where does the time go? Our little 2 lb. 2 oz. baby isn't so tiny anymore! Cade is having 11 friends (yikes!) over tonight, so we're hoping this rain will go away so the boys can be outside playing a baseball game. We are making supper for them too. Not sure what we'll do if we're forced to be inside. Happy birthday, big guy!

Lucky again at the Redhawks Game!
Well, it's definitely been Cade's lucky week! After winning the bike on Tuesday, he was lucky again by getting his name drawn at the Redhawks game last night to be the First Pitch Delivery Kid! He was soooo excited! He had to run the ball out to the field where another boy threw the first pitch. They gave him a t-shirt that said "First Pitch Delievery Kid" on it. It was a perfect night for a baseball game. To top it off, they had awesome fireworks afterwards. It was a late night. I think we got home at midnight. Camden and Brielle stayed at Trisha's apartment while we were at the game. We all had a fun time!Wednesday, August 4, 2010
Lucky at "National Night Out"
Last night, Breckenridge held it's "National Night Out", where there was free food, entertainment, games, and prizes. First, Camden won a cookie bouquet, and then Cade won a bike!!! As soon as Cade's name was announced, he took off running to claim it as fast as a fox! We had never seen him run so quickly!! The kids also each received a new bike helmet. It was a lucky night for the Kelsen's!

Brielle loved dancing to the music!

Brielle's 1st Birthday Party
We had Brielle's 1st birthday party on Sunday at our house. She was able to get a nap in the morning before everyone came and did pretty well the whole day with no afternoon nap. She wasn't too interested in opening her presents yet, but she sure liked the ribbons! She loved all the attention that she got throughout the day! Thanks for all the cards and gifts that everyone gave Brielle!

Playdate
Below is: Camden, Isaac, Katherine, Brielle,
Paige, Hannah, Cade, and Rachel

Last week, my friend, Janelle, and her 4 kids came from Moorhead for a playdate. It was a fun afternoon! We walked to the school playground, which was a lot of fun for the kids. They also had a good time just playing in the house. The kids have been asking when we can play with them again.
