Our "New" Old Pickup

Chris has been busy fixing up our old pickup.
He took it in for some body work and a new paint job.
He put on a new bumper, wheels, trim, and tires.
He's proud of the new look!

Easter 2008

We had a nice Easter this year. We had off Friday-Monday, which was really nice. On Friday,

we went to Fargo and did some shopping while the kids stayed at Aunt Cheryl's house. Cade enjoyed playing "Guitar Hero" with cousin Ryan. Later, we drove to Lisbon to Grandpa John & Grandma June's house. On Saturday, the kids did their annual Easter egg hunt. They got a lot of eggs filled with candy and money! Later that day was Easter egg dyeing. On Sunday, after the kids found their hidden Easter baskets from the Easter bunny, we drove to Sheyenne Riverbend Farms near Valley City to celebrate Easter with the Storhoff Family. We enjoyed a lot of good food, Pinochle, and Joker (marble game) tournament. That evening, we drove back to Lisbon and came home on Monday.

Easter Egg Hunt

The kids went to an Easter Egg Hunt this morning at Breckenridge Elementary School. They had their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny, did arts and crafts, held rabbits, got their face painted, and of course, hunted for eggs. Because there were so many kids there, they were limited to only 5 eggs. The kids enjoyed themselves as they do every year.

Camden's Surgery Rescheduled Once Again

Camden's surgery is rescheduled once again for April 17 at 9:00 am (we need to be there at 7:00), with a clinic appt. on the 16th at 2:15 in the cities at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital. The surgery is for tear duct probing with tube insertion. He still isn't totally over his RSV and started running a fever, so wasn't in any shape for surgery. Hopefully he'll be able to have it next month.

Sick!

Ugh! I (Tanya) came down with the flu early Tuesday morning. I had a severe headache, chills, fever, muscle aches, and runny nose. I missed work yesterday and today. I'm finally feeling better so should be able to go back to work tomorrow.

Camden's 1st Birthday Party

Paige's 5th Birthday Party

The 5 of Us

Here is a family picture of us taken yesterday at the birthday party. We celebrated the birthday parties a little early. Paige will turn 5 on March 12, and Camden will turn 1 on March 15. Tanya made their cakes. Paige's cake is a "Shrek 3" babies cake, and Camden's is a Noah's ark cake. Camden wasn't feeling well all day as you can tell by the picture. He just wasn't his typical smiley self. More pictures of the birthday to come.
