Brielle is 5 months old!

Brielle is 5 months old already. She is rolling from her back to her tummy and is very close to rolling from her tummy to her back. She loves to be held and hates to be put down. She is so cute when she laughs out loud.

Sunday School Christmas Program

Cade and Paige had their Sunday School Christmas program today at church. Paige did a GREAT job reciting her verse! Below is the video of it. They both did a great job singing. We had the following people come and watch today: Grandma Cathy, Grandma June, Trisha, and her boyfriend, Josh. We had a lasagna lunch afterwards.

Brielle's First Bath in the Tub

Brielle had her first bath in the bathtub tonight. She wasn't too sure what to think right away, but was enjoying it after a little bit.

"Baby" Camden

Camden has reverted back to being a baby. I found him with Brielle's bib on playing under her floor toy. Funny boy!

Brielle is 4 months old!

Brielle is now 4 months old...actually 4 1/2 months now. She LOVES to be held and also LOVES having her diaper changed. She has rolled over and enjoys playing with rattles. She weighs 13 lbs. 11 oz. (49th %) and is 24.75" long (69th %). She is now wearing 6-9 month clothing!

A Visit With Santa

We took the kids to see Santa tonight at NDSCS. Camden was a bit unsure about Santa at first, but after some coaxing, he sat on Santa's lap and told Santa that he wanted "toys". He then started getting really chatty with Santa saying "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas Santa". After sitting on Santa's lap and getting a gift, the kids decorated a cut-out cookie and decorated chef's hats. Camden kept going over to Santa, waving and talking to him. When we were ready to leave, he wanted to be sure Santa knew that we were leaving, so he went over to him AGAIN and told him goodbye. Paige was shy too around Santa and needed a little coaxing to tell him what she wanted for Christmas...a red Nintendo DS. Cade really enjoyed decorating his cookie with lots of frosting and sprinkles.

As you can see, one of Camden's favorite shows is AFV. He's constantly filled with excitement and running in place when watching it. He does this when watching sports, too.

Student of the Month

What an exciting day...Paige got student of the month! She was nominated by her music teacher, Mrs. Arth. Mrs. Arth awarded it to Paige for "singing her heart out, knowing her actions, and having a great smile every day!". Wow...Paige has really come out of her shell! In the past, she would not sing or do any actions of any kind when with a group of kids. Way to go, Paige!!

Paige's Halloween Music Skit

Today Paige had her Halloween skit for music class. Her teacher, Mrs. Arth, put a lot of work into this little concert. Paige was Juanita, the dancing pumpkin and did a great job. She also played some musical instruments, which she really enjoyed. She was soooo excited for this little concert, it's all she's been talking about for days. She was also really glad we could go and watch her.

Minneapolis Trip

We took Cade and Paige to Minneapolis Thurs-Sat. because they didn't have school due to teacher's convention. On Thursday, we stopped at Albertville Outlet Mall and did some shopping and then stayed at the Grand Rios hotel and waterpark. We had a good time at the waterpark. Cade was lucky and hit the jackpot on an arcade game and won 800 tickets, which he was pretty proud of. We enjoyed pizza and pop in the hotel's restaurant for supper. The next day, we went to the MN Science Museum. The kids enjoyed the exhibits, and we went to the IMAX movie "Titanica". I ended up either getting a touch of the stomach flu or food posioning, so wasn't feeling the greatest that day. After the science museum, we checked into the Country Inn & Suites. I slept while Chris and the kids went shopping and ate supper. They came back to the hotel and went swimming while I slept some more. The next day I was feeling better. We spent the day shopping and then headed home. Camden and Brielle stayed home with Grandma Cathy. I start back to work tomorrow, and Brielle will go to daycare for the first time. My maternity leave flew by!

Flag Football

Cade is in flag football this fall. They have had practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and have had a few games against Wahpeton. They are just learning the game and are having lots of fun. Cade is the one wearing the black cap in the picture.

Brielle's Baptism

My Birthday

For my birthday on Saturday, we went to a wedding of some friends in Wahpeton. It was a beautiful wedding, and we had a good time. Chris lucked out and didn't have to spend too much on me! We'll splurge when we go to Minneapolis in a few weeks! :)

Garage Sale

Well, we had our garage sale this past Friday and Saturday and did pretty well. Our grand total was about $550. We then donated almost everything we didn't sell to a local church's "Reason for the Season" program where families in need can "shop" at their church for supplies. It was so nice to get rid of the stuff!

Does Anyone Notice Any Resemblance?

We have had a lot of people tell us that Camden looks just like Jonathan Lipnicki, or the kid from Jerry Maguire. What do you think...any resemblance??? It was so funny-we asked Camden who that was on TV, and he said, "That's me"!!

Gummy Bear Math

Today, Brielle and I went to Paige's classroom for "Gummy Bear Math". Each student gets some different colored gummy bears and a worksheet packet they need to fill out with questions about their gummy bears. After they finished their packet, the kids got to eat their gummy bears. We had a fun time! Afterwards, we went and got flu shots!

Headwater's Day Parade

On Saturday morning, we took the kids to the Headwater's Day Parade in town. It was a beautiful morning! The kids got lots of candy. Camden loved watching all the "action". His favorites were the horses, tractors, and trucks. Brielle slept through the whole thing. We usually go afterwards to the BBQ lunch in the park, but we decided to skip it this year.

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for Cade and Paige. They both said they had a great day at school and are anxious to go back tomorrow!
