Happy 40th Anniversary!

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary to my mom and dad, John & June Weigel. They were married on June 27, 1970 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Cogswell, ND. Here's to many more happy years together!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

This morning, Chris opened his cards and gift from the kids. They each made him a homemade card. Cade's card featured him and Chris going fishing and Chris catching a walleye, Paige's was them at the races, and Camden's was a poem. Brielle made him a coaster with her footprint on it, and the kids got him a NDSCS sweatshirt. They told him, "You're the best Daddy ever"! Chris made a quick trip to Fergus this morning to get some more supplies for the shed, and he's planning on spending his Father's Day working on the shed. I thought he should relax today, but that was a 'no-go'. Happy Father's Day!!

3rd place in Hot Shots

Cade attended a basketball camp this week, and he placed 3rd in the hot shots tournament. Way to go, Cade!

Our shed is finally coming along! The BHS construction class started building our shed, but they got started pretty late. The construction class teacher said that if they didn't finish, he would come and finish it for us (except for the steel siding). Chris is so anxious to start using it as our garage is busting at the seams!

Shingling is in process today.

It's Swimsuit Season Again!

Well, today was the opening day of the Breckenridge Family Aquatic Center for the season. Cade had basketball camp, so Paige begged me to take her to the pool. We went and bought a family pass again, and she enjoyed swimming. She said that 7 of her friends were there, so she had a great time. Cade went swimming after basketball camp was over. I actually started reading a book...the last time I had time to read was last summer at the pool! :)
