We are starting to prepare for the baby by getting Paige moved downstairs into a new room as the baby will have her room upstairs. We ordered new bedroom furniture which should be here in a week or so. We thought we'd better hurry and get the room painted before the furniture arrived. Her new quilt came in from JC Penney's, so we were able to match the paint colors to her new quilt. The colors in the pictures below look a little lighter than what the paint actually is. The green looks kinda like a lime green, so we should be able to find a lot of accessories with the pink and lime green. Chris worked hard today and got it all painted. Paige is excited about her new room. We're not sure when we'll move her downstairs. It may be easier to wait until school is out, but we'll see.

Update
It's been awhile since I posted so thought I'd do an update. Yesterday was an unusually beautiful day with a high of 85! It actually felt 'hot' out. I heard Cade say to Paige, "Paige, feel my armpits...they're sweating"! We took Camden for a stroller walk last night while Cade and Paige rode bike. We can't go very far because I can't overdo it. The kids (and Daddy) have been playing basketball outside, and Camden cries when it's time to come in. He LOVES it outside. He keeps busy exploring things in the garage and playing with balls. It was cute seeing him in his shorts and sandals for the first time last night.
I've now passed the 6 month mark. It's hard thinking that I went into labor with Cade at 6 months! The baby is active, and I'm feeling lots of kicks. I'm now on 2 insulin shots a day, one before lunch and one before supper. I'm also pricking my finger 4x a day to check my levels. I'm getting more and more insulin resistant each week, having to raise my insulin dose. It gets to be tricky knowing what to put it at. I started out with 5 units of insulin and now am around 27 units. My diabetes educator says it's expected that my insulin will continue to need to be raised the farther along I get.
We ordered a new bedroom set for Paige as she'll be moving downstairs soon. I also ordered a new quilt for her that we got yesterday, so this weekend may involve Chris painting her new room downstairs. She's excited to move down there. We have so much to do yet before the baby comes that we thought we'd better get started on some of it!

A Little Late...
Paige's teacher finally emailed me a picture of her on her birthday at school. It's a very special day when it's your birthday at school. You get to wear a birthday hat, and all the classmates draw a birthday picture for you of something they'd like to give you for your birthday. The teacher then takes these pictures and makes a nice keepsake book.
