Paige Got Her Ears Pierced

Paige got her ears pierced today and did a GREAT job! She didn't even shed a tear and acted like it was "no big deal". She really likes her new pierced ears. As soon as we got home, she had to run over to her friends' house and show them.

She chose the 14k gold "diamond" studs.

Cade's 11th Birthday Party

Well, we survived Cade's 11th birthday sleepover party (just barely)! He had 7 boys spend the night. They came at 5pm Friday night and left at 11am on Saturday. They played a baseball game in the backyard, had supper, opened gifts, and then because of the rain played a video game tournament downstairs. It would've been nice for them to be outside the whole night, but that didn't happen. The next morning, they got up, had breakfast, played a 4-on-4 basketball game, and finally another baseball game. Cade said it was his best birthday ever, so it was worth it!

Cade is 11 years old today! Wow...where does the time go? He is having 7 friends spend the night tonight, so wish us luck! Pictures of the party to follow later...

Cade and Paige Pass Swimming Lessons

Another round of swimming lessons is over, and we are proud to say that both Cade and Paige passed their levels! Cade passed Level 5, and Paige passed Level 4. Paige was so happy she learned how to dive off the diving board. Cade's group only had 2 kids in it, so he got a lot of 1-on-1 instruction which was nice. Paige had a large group but had 2 teachers. Next year, Camden will start lessons.

Staining the Playset

Our playset was needing a stain job, so Chris took off early last Friday to stain it. He finished 5 hours later. It was a very hot day, too! He's glad it's done!

3-on-3 Tournament

Cade recently participated in a 3-on-3 tournament in Breckenridge at St. Mary's School. Some games were inside, and some were outside. They had a great time and got 4th place.
