Playdate with Janelle & Kids

My good friend Janelle and her kids came from Moorhead for a playdate yesterday. The kids all had a great time. She was nice enough to bring me a whole bag full of CUTE baby girl clothes, some with the tags still on! Thanks so much Janelle!

Gymnastics Fun

Paige is in gymnastics on Thursday mornings and really enjoys it. She hopes to be able to learn how to do a cartwheel! Here she is on the rings.

Cade lost his 6th tooth!

Cade begged me to put a picture on the blog showing that he lost his 6th tooth. It's been quite awhile since he's lost a tooth, so he was pretty excited. The Tooth Fairy came and left him $4!

Camden's 1st time eating corn-on-the-cob

As you can see from the picture, Camden LIKES it! He acted like a pro eating his first ear of corn-on-the-cob! Mmmmmm.....

Wedding

Hard to believe it's been 12 years already! Time flies when you're having fun!

Rearranging Bedrooms...Getting Ready for Baby!

We have been busy rearranging rooms getting ready for the baby's arrival in 7 weeks.

Camden's Room: Camden got moved into a big bed! He's done pretty well with it. He hasn't cried when we put him down at night (which he always did in his crib), but the last few nights he has gotten up in the middle of the night but has gone back to sleep fine when we put him back to bed. He needs some items on his walls yet but other than that, his room is pretty well set to go!

Paige's Room: Paige moved downstairs into her new room. She got freshly painted walls and a brand new bedroom set. She has enjoyed being in her new room and sleeps well in her new bed. We need to get her laptop computer ready, her computer chair painted, and some things on her walls, too, but other than that, it's looking good.

The Nursery: The nursery is about ready to go. The crib won't be made until later but clothes are washed and put in the dresser drawers. We also have a 'must have' TV in there for me to be entertained while I am feeding the baby ...the countless hours I will spend in there!

Paige Has Hives!

Paige has hives! We don't know where they came from as she hasn't been around anything different that we can think of. She has a cough, and I did read on the Internet that hives can be caused from a virus, so we're thinking that's what it may be from. We've been giving her Benadryl, which helps make them disappear at least for awhile, but they do return. If they don't clear up, I'll probably take her in and see what the doctor says.

A Little Lattice

As you can see from the pictures, we decided to add some no-maintenance lattice to our deck.

Dr. Appt.

I had another doctor's appointment on Friday, and all looked good. The cerclage is holding and doing what it's supposed to do. The c-section date is set for July 30! I will see my doctor in another month and then only 1 more time after that before the c-section. At my last appointment, we may do an ultrasound just to check on the baby. I'm feeling pretty well. I'm on 2 shots of insulin a day and have a lot of swelling in my fingers in the morning and numbness throughout the night. My feet are also starting to swell some, but my blood pressure was good...108/64.

Landscaping Project Completed!

Beginning Landscaping

Well, we (or should I say mostly Chris) began landscaping last night. He wants to get this project done soon before the hot weather and baby come. He borrowed the little tractor from a guy at work, which is a lifesaver (or should I say backsaver)! I don't know a whole lot about plants and flowers but learned a few things from the greenhouse. Hopefully when everything grows a bit it will look really nice. I actually planted more perennials than bushes in the front of the house. We got the front of the house finished last night and are hoping we can finish the rest this week. It was the PERFECT weather last night to be working outside.
