Paige had a sleepover birthday party on Friday night, and she was able to drive a
snowmobile and go sledding. She had a great time!

A Busy Appointment Day

Wow...what a day it has been! We've had a busy day full of appointments. Camden had his well child check and got 3 shots. He did pretty well with his shots. Right away, he told the nurse, "I love shots!". I don't think he continues to feel that way. Then, Cade had 4 top baby teeth pulled along with a frenectomy at the dentist. Then, I got my bottom braces on, and Paige got 3 braces put on. Thank goodness we are done with appointments for awhile~

We encouraged Paige to do a puzzle today as she was "bored". She really didn't want to do it, but with some help, she was able to get it done and actually enjoyed it.

Paige's Basketball Tourney

Paige's traveling basketball has come to a close after her basketball tournament in Wahpeton yesterday. They didn't do very well at the tournament, but they had fun.

Pizza Party at Daycare

Today at daycare they had a pizza party where parents were invited to come and help make pizzas with their kids. Chris was able to go and help them make their individual pizzas. Camden loved his, but Brielle didn't a whole lot of hers. Over the past few weeks, the kids have been writing names of books that they've been read to at home on "pizza toppings" for the big pizza in each of their rooms. They celebrated by having a pizza party!

Paige's Day at the Dentist

Yesterday Paige went to the dentist and had 2 baby teeth pulled and also had a labial frenectomy done. She was a little nervous right away, but did a great job. They just numbed her up really well, and she didn't even need gas. We thought she would be in pain after the numbness wore off, but she's been pain-free. Her lip is a little swollen today but that's about it. She did have quite a bit of bleeding from the teeth being pulled, so she used a lot of gauze last night. She goes in next Monday to get the stitches removed. She wrote the Tooth Fairy a note last night because she really wanted to keep her teeth and bring them to school to show everyone today. Here is a picture of her note to the Tooth Fairy. She got $4 from the Tooth Fairy with a little note.

Wahpeton BB Tournament

Yesterday, Cade played 3 games at Circle of Nations School for the Wahpeton Little Guy Tournament. His team placed 3rd overall. At the end of the last game, he started getting a bad headache (sounded like a migraine) but was better after going home, resting and taking some pain medication. Two of his games were naibiters, so I think our blood pressure was sky high! He lost his first game by 1 point!

Brielle was tuckered out at the games. She managed to get a little snooze in.

Cade's Wall of Fame

This week, Cade was up for the "Wall of Fame" at school. He needed to bring a piece of tagboard with pictures of himself on it to hang up in his classroom. Here is a picture of his tagboard. His friends thought the picture of Chris' wedding ring up Cade's arm when he was born was pretty cool! Hard to believe he was only 2 lbs. 2 oz. when he was born. Cade's classmates have to write a paragraph about the poster, a paragraph with questions for him, and a paragraph about what they like about him. Those will be interesting to read!
